OUR STORY
Our idea was simple, to take everyone’s favourite Polish staple and reinvent it for a new audience.
As proud UK born, second generation Poles, our experience of food growing up was always a marriage of cultures.
Travelling around the world, we were further exposed to exciting flavours; inspiring us to collect recipes, take cookery classes with local chefs and experiment when back home. After cooking pierogi with some left over chicken, chorizo and a sprinkling of spices - Rogi was born!
Traditional Polish food is rich and delicious but simple, often using just a small number of locally sourced ingredients. Rogi’s aim is to stay true to the humble pierog, while channelling the rich variety of flavours in global cuisine.
WHO ARE ROGI?
Joe Jenvey
A Product Manager and consultant who dreams big. Joe has over 15 years experience in building and scaling products, and many more in eating pierogi! Joe concentrates on R&D, growth and adding nonsensical hashtags to our social posts.
Alice Jenvey
A Management Accountant by trade, Alice is the brains of the organisation, using her expertise to ensure Rogi is performing to plan. Alice brought Joe to London through their shared love of Polish folk dancing (and each other...)
