12 Mushroom & Sauerkraut Pierogi (vg)
Mushroom and sauerkraut pierogi, traditionally served on Christmas Eve in Poland. A beautiful balance of tangy sauerkraut and earthy mushrooms with added miso for that umami depth. Delicious served with butter, onions or sour cream.
Suitable for vegans.
PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS:
Bring a pan of water to a rigorous boil.
Add frozen pierogi and stir gently. Cook on high for 5 minutes.
Drain and serve.
Optional extra: Finish by pan frying in butter or oil until golden.
STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS: Keep frozen at −18°C or below. Do not refreeze once defrosted. Cook from frozen.
